2009 A Year Of Rediscovery Rob Gorrell has been building and selling Rustic Furniture since 1992. At the beginning of 2009 Rob decided to take a year and explore the roots of the rustic furniture and tramp art that he enjoys so much.  He is especially interested in traditional Tramp Art techniques and the possibilities of combining Tramp Art with Rustic elements.  Using twigs, salvaged and reused lumber, cigar boxes, found objects and discarded metal Rob is reconnecting with traditional patterns and developing a new style all his own. This website is a record of Rob's progress in the Rediscovery, and also a source of information for works that Rob has for sale.
	May-June 2009 Time to fix up the yard. The rain finally seems to have stopped and it is time to get all the garden rustic spruced up and get the vegetables growing.  Also there is that patch of curly willow that needs pruned for tomato cages and the cedar that has waited almost a year to become a serving buffet by the grill. And since May is nearly shot I guess most of these will be June projects.  There are also some Tramp Art projects in the works in the shop. I am building a series of Tramp Art cupboards with a church theme. More to come on that later.
